LoadGen comes with an option to create your test users in Active Directory. With this option, you can create thousands of users in just a couple of steps.
- Open the LoadGen Director, and open the User Creation wizard under the Tools.
- The LoadGen user creation wizard will start.

- Choose a Run as Profile or create one. Make sure this account has appropriate rights to your Domain Controller, so you can connect to the domain and create users.

- In case you have a lot of Domain Groups and Organizational Units you can filter them on this wizard page.

- Now, create the users. You can create multiple users at once when using the [ ] characters. There, you can add a start value, an end value, and the number of digits. So TestUser[1:100:3] will create TestUser001 to TestUser100.

- Set the Profile and Home paths on this wizard page. User %UserName% to create the correct folders for specific users.

- Set the Terminal Services Profile and Home paths on this wizard page. User %UserName% to create the correct folders for specific users.

- On the next wizard page, you will be presented with the entered Home folders.

- Choose the Organizational Unit where you want the test users created.

- Select the Domain Groups of which the test users must be a member.

- If you have an on-premises Exchange Server, you can directly create the mailboxes of the test user.

- Check the summary and press Finish. After pressing Finish, the test users will be created in your Active Directory.
