Unblock processes in case of running Omnissa (VMware) Horizon or FAT client on the LoadGen Agent or VDI machine

Issue

When using a Workspace Environment Manager like Ivanti RES, AppSense, Citrix Workspace Environment Manager, etc., some processes can be blocked so that LoadGen can not start the simulation (Workload).

Solution

For LoadGen to start and simulate without any issues, you need to allow the following process to be started:

• c:\program files (x86)\loadgen\loadgen agent\dnklocalclient.exe

Additional processes to unblock

The following processes will be started from within the context of the dnklocalclient.exe process.

• c:\program files (x86)\loadgen\loadgen agent\loadgenuai\loadgenuai.serveraddin.exe
• c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v4.0.30319\vbc.exe

The following processes will be started from within the context of the loadgenuai.serveraddin.exe process.

• c:\program files (x86)\loadgen\loadgen agent\loadgenuai\loadgenuai.hookservice32.exe
• c:\program files (x86)\loadgen\loadgen agent\loadgenuai\loadgenuai.hookservice64.exe
