LoadGen 5.0.0.7657: Flows are not backward compatible

LoadGen 5.0.0.7657: You need to manually open the Flows you want to use in the test and Save them before running a test.
 
With our Q1 release, we introduce the LoadGen Core Agent and now you can take screenshots from your local session and from within the Citrix Enhanced or Remote Desktop session.
 
We smashed a lot of bugs, and bring a lot of improvements.

 

New Features

  • We are proud to release our new LoadGen Core Agent, now you can test basically any VDI / Hosted Desktop technology from Linux or Windows Agents (if the technology supports connecting to the VDI / Hosted Desktop from the command line). Read more about this feature in this article.
  • From this release, it is possible to take a screenshot from the Agent and from within the VDI / Hosted Desktop (only with the Citrix Enhanced and Remote Desktop Load Profiles). Now you can see and compare screen snapshots in real life!

LoadGen General

  • In this build, we have added a lot of improvements and bug fixes.
  • The login routine to the LoadGen Cloud is completely improved.

LoadGen Cloud and LoadGen Insight

  • LoadGen Cloud - End-to-End Monitoring is released, please contact us for a demo.
  • Several enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Multiple fixes for the LoadGen Cloud Agent and LoadGen Cloud Studio.

LoadGen Director

  • Several enhancements and bug fixes (General, Canvas, Load Scenario, Sytems Under Test, Licensing, Executing test, and dashboard).
  • Fixed an issue with sending command-line params VMware Horizon Client as case-sensitive.
  • In case of proxy failure, you can now use a cached license.
  • Fixed an issue where the first test is failing always because of offline LoadGen Agents.
  • Fixed an issue where removing a SUT profile generates an exception.
  • Fixed an issue where adding multiple SUT machines generates an error.
  • Fixed an issue when creating new canvas results in no available LoadGen Agents.
  • Fixed an issue where the same user with another domain name results in strange behavior in Studio and Agent.
  • Fixed an issue where sending the nvl command line to Studio or Analyzer started from Director.
  • Speed up loading data tables in Database options.

LoadGen Studio

  • Several enhancements and bug fixes (General, User Actions, Disabling Applications).
  • Several styling optimizations.
  • Fixed an issue where Application Blocks are not selectable / order is not correct.
  • Fixed an issue where you can't change the user type.
  • Fixed an issue where copy items to new block shuffle content order.
  • Fixed an issue where a new LoadGen App is created, Recorder opened, but not visible in Application Block items in Recorder.
  • Fixed an issue where Minimize, maximize, and close buttons are in the wrong location.
  • Fixed an issue where the collapse and expand the state of the user action treeview stays the way the user has left it.
  • Datasheets can now import XLSX files (make sure Microsoft Excel is installed).
  • You can now add line numbers in the Application Block.
  • Dragging applications in general flow will show a visible indicator.
  • You can now subtract and extract numbers from variables.
  • Add a button Default Expand All.
  • We made it possible to add a UserAction in a UserAction.

  • Enhancements to the output report.

LoadGen Analyzer

  • Several enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Several styling optimizations.
  • Fixed an issue where chart wizard settings are not saved in User Chart.
  • Change the data source pick window, it's easier to select and search a data source in case of many data sources.

LoadGen Agent

  • Several enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Improved installation speed and checks.
  • Fixed an issue where LoadGen Agents do not unlock the machine automatically before a test starts.
