Tutorial: SQL Server Installation

#### You have downloaded SQL Server 2017 Express Edition:

Tutorial: LoadGen Configurator first use

Step 1: Open the SQL Server 2017 installer

1. Run the downloaded file SQLServer2017-SSEI-Expr.exe.2. Choose Yes to allow the app to make changes to your device.

Step 2: Select an installation type

1. Select Basic as one of the three installation types.

Step 3: Microsoft SQL Server License Terms

1. Read the Microsoft SQL Server License Terms and Privacy Statement, and click Accept .

Step 4: Specify SQL Server install location

1. Choose an install location, and click the Install button.

Step 5: Download and install

1. The installer will now download and install the SQL software.

Step 6: Installation has been completed successfully

1. Press Close.2. Reboot the machine.
