The newest LoadGen Cloud release embodies our dedication to top-notch performance, influenced by essential feedback from our users. We've honed in on and resolved various issues to deliver a seamless and improved LoadGen experience.

In our latest release, we're excited to introduce comprehensive enhancements to our Alerts and Triggers functionalities. We understand that timely notifications and automated responses are crucial to maintaining system performance and reliability. Therefore, we've refined the Alerts and Triggers feature, providing you with advanced customization options for real-time monitoring and notification. You can now easily set up intricate alert conditions and tailor notifications to suit your specific monitoring needs, ensuring that you stay ahead of any potential issues in your testing landscape.

Additionally, we are pleased to announce the improved support for LoadGen Core Agents, further streamlining the testing process across various environments. The Core Agents are crucial for conducting LoadGen WebTesting across multiple browsers and platforms, including both Windows and Linux. This update offers enhanced stability and an expanded feature set for the Core Agents, enabling more precise and efficient testing scenarios. With these advancements, users can deploy LoadGen Core Agents with greater confidence and benefit from a more reliable and robust testing framework.

  • Web Testing Support powered by Playwright: In our commitment to boost your testing capabilities, we've introduced a major feature - Web Testing, powered by the renowned Playwright.

Alerts and Trigger Enhancements

  • Integration of new LoadGen E2E Alerts feature.
  • Resolved issues with editing, saving, and displaying Alert and Trigger Wizards.
  • Streamlined the Trigger creation process, now accurately reflecting changes without needing a manual refresh.
  • Fixed the unsupported value type error when saving triggers.

User Experience and Interface Improvements

  • Zen integration was restored and operational.
  • Styling finalized in Trigger interface for improved clarity and aesthetics.
  • Resolved issue with Dashboard Color Scheme for better visual appeal.
  • Introduced logic changes to enhance alerting consistency and reliability.
  • Fixed navigation issue with the missing Back button in user flow.
  • Sorted User/Performance Alert Expression Editor fields alphabetically for easier navigation.

Operational Stability and Functionality Fixes

  • Resolved issues preventing the saving of Schedules and proceeding with alert profiles.
  • Corrected Organizational Unit Selection to filter out Admin and Service Users.
  • Fixed bugs related to user deletion and recreation with the same name or email.

LoadGen Cloud Studio

  • Several enhancements and bug fixes (General, User Actions, Disabling Applications).
  • Several styling optimizations.
  • Corrected a bug where commenting within the studio could lead to an exception. Commenting is now smooth and error-free.
  • Addressed a specific issue where certain characters in titles and validations would result in exceptions.
  • Resolved issues with WebTest screenshot refresh in validation, preventing exceptions.
  • Eliminated the problem where items could not be removed from WebTest.
  • Ensured the recording wizard back button now follows the correct order, enhancing navigation.
  • Fixed an intermittent import/export failure, ensuring reliability in saving and transporting data.
  • We adjusted the Application Block to handle title characters correctly, avoiding potential corruption.
  • Incorporated the Studio build number into the .LGS file upon saving, for better version control.
  • Rectified issues causing exceptions when importing LGAX files.
  • Resolved a start-up issue specifically related to the Cloud edition of the Studio.
  • New control optimizations are included, enhancing the user interface.
  • Start-up speed has been significantly improved, allowing for a more efficient launch of the Studio.

LoadGen Agent

  • Several enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Fixed a bug that would cause an exception when there was no Internet connection.
  • Resolved a path not found error for smoother operation.
  • Fixed an exception issue related to connecting to the Cloud, ensuring stable connections.
  • Resolved an Unidentified Application Interface (UAI) Exception for uninterrupted service.

LoadGen Core Agent

  • LoadGen Core Agent updates have been focused on ironing out bugs and optimizing performance.
  • Addressed the Linux time zone discrepancy issue. The agent's time zone must now match that of the Director. Read more about this issue in this article.
