We are proud to announce the LoadGen Q2-2025 release! This version brings new features and many important bug fixes across LoadGen Director, Studio, Analyzer, and Core Agent.

LoadGen Director
Enhancements

Rearrange the dashboard while running a test
You can now rearrange dashboard elements during an active test session, improving live test monitoring and control. -
Add the hostname to the log when the network connection fails
For improved diagnostics, the Director now logs the affected hostname when a network connection issue occurs. -
Extend the command line when running a test silently
Command-line capabilities have been extended for more flexible test automation scenarios.

Workload creation with WebTesting apps throws an exception
An issue was resolved where adding WebTesting applications during workload creation resulted in an exception. -
Users receiving ICA file but failing logon are not marked as failed
Sessions with failed ICA file downloads are now properly marked as failed instead of idle. -
Failed sessions are not shown and still marked as idle
Improved session state tracking: failed sessions are now correctly reported in the dashboard. -
Support for MultiSubnetFailover in SQL connections
Added compatibility with SQL environments usingMultiSubnetFailover=True
. -
Director remains in a progress state during failed test initiation
Fixed a case where the Director remained stuck in a test-in-progress state after a failed start. -
WebTesting added one extra user unintentionally
Resolved an issue where WebTesting scenarios added an unintended extra user. -
Opening Functional Studio from Director threw an error
Fixed an exception when launching Studio via Director to edit a workload. -
New scenario name was always pre-filled
Resolved UI bug where new scenarios always received a default name. -
Cosmetic error when changing Load Scenario
Minor UI layout fix when switching scenarios. -
Frontend UI hangs during load test
The director's interface now remains responsive during test execution. -
Old test data processed on the new test start
Resolved a bug where DUAF and SMD data from a previous test session were reused improperly. -
Workload Exchange appeared empty after a long Director uptime
Fixed caching issue where workloads were not displayed after long sessions. -
RDS server not added after creation
Newly created RDS servers are now properly listed in the configuration view. -
Hovering over 'Idle users' shows an incorrect tooltip
Corrected the tooltip shown when hovering over the idle user count. -
Sensitive SQL connection details are visible
Improved security: SQL test connection screen no longer shows passwords in plain text. -
The director hangs when disconnecting the RDP session
The director remains stable when disconnecting remote desktop sessions during active use.
LoadGen Studio
Enhancements

Microsoft Edge for WebTesting not fixed
We are still working with Microsoft to fix Microsoft Edge in WebTesting workloads.

Tempo options not saved
Both UI and functional fixes were implemented to ensure that tempo configurations persist correctly. -
Blocks in Initialize, Finalize, Logoff, and Logon cannot be disabled
You can now disable blocks reliably in all structural sections of the workload. -
Migration issues related to block enablement
Resolved problems where migrated blocks from older workloads did not retain their enabled/disabled state. -
Scroll is not working during playback
Fixed issue preventing scrolling while reviewing workload playback. -
The copied block is disabled by default
Copied actions now retain their original enabled state. -
Studio playback stops in the Windows Event block
Resolved an issue where playback halted after certain system block executions. -
Control validations fail or do not update
Improvements were made to reliability and UI refresh of control validation results. -
CPU measurement fails after upgrade
Studio's built-in performance metrics now operate correctly after version upgrades.
LoadGen Analyzer
Fixes

Export to Excel creates empty file
Resolved issue where exporting resulted in a 10 KB blank Excel file. -
Chart wizard logo mismatch
Branding updated to ensure consistent experience across chart tools. -
Missing export title
Exports now properly include chart titles. -
No ‘close’ button on Datasource Manager
UI updated with a close button for improved usability.
LoadGen Agent
Fixes

Core Agent stopped unexpectedly
Stability improvements have been implemented to ensure agents remain active. -
Exception during localClient test
Resolved compiler errors preventing execution of converted LocalClient workloads. -
Exception thrown during test execution
Improved error handling during agent test run initialization. -
Updated messages for file actions (read/write/delete)
Improved logging for better traceability of file-based validation actions.
