LoadGen Cloud 2025-Q3
We are proud to announce the Q3 2025 release of LoadGen Cloud!
This release introduces a wide range of improvements, new features, and important bug fixes across dashboards, licensing, machine groups, SessionSight, and overall system performance.
Our focus this quarter has been on strengthening scalability, expanding monitoring and analytics with SessionSight, and enhancing user experience for dashboards, licensing, and payments.
New Features and Enhancements
Dashboards and Frontend
- Organization-unit dashboards: Dashboards can now be made active per organization unit or per user, improving flexibility and visibility across multi-tenant environments.
- Frontend UI/UX changes: We've refined several interface elements to provide a cleaner, more intuitive experience for all users.
Licensing and Payments
- Database retention for licenses: Added the ability to configure license database retention policies, helping keep data clean and manageable.
- Stripe payments: Users can now purchase LoadGen licenses directly using Stripe, simplifying the license acquisition process.
- End-To-End Monitoring licensing process: Added support for End-to-End licenses to better tailor test setups.
- Stripe and license integration testing: Improved validation and integration tests for Stripe payments and license processing.
- License upgrades and payment updates: New functionality to manage upgrades and adjustments of licenses directly within the platform.
Performance and Infrastructure
- Performance improvements: General backend optimizations increase responsiveness and scalability under high load scenarios.
LoadGen Insights
An innovative SaaS module currently in beta that delivers deep insights into application usage and performance across the entire IT landscape. LoadGen Insight collects data via a lightweight agent on Windows endpoints, tracking which applications users open, when, and which versions, while also measuring real-time metrics such as CPU, memory, disk usage, and network activity per application. It further inventories hardware configurations, drivers, and patch levels, giving IT teams a complete picture of their environment.
This empowers organizations to identify heavily used applications, understand their performance impact, and make data-driven decisions on optimization and support. On the roadmap are advanced features such as RemoteView (live viewing and remote support on endpoints) and RemoteExec (deploying scripts and executables remotely).
Licensing model: Subscription per endpoint agent, available monthly or annually, with optional site-wide licensing for larger environments.
Machine Groups
- Monitoring and configuration improvements: Added new models, including MonitoringProcessInformationConfigModel and UpdateAgentVersion, allowing for more granular configuration and monitoring of agents.
- Better UX/UI: Machine Group management UI has been updated for more clarity and usability.
- Installer version reset: Fixed an issue where the installer version incorrectly changed to 1.
- UploadInterval stability: UploadInterval handling for Machine Groups is now stable and reliable.
Master Control Agent
- Connection fields: The Master Control Agent now includes new connection fields for better configuration and integration flexibility.
Passwords and Security
- Inline password removal: Inline passwords have been fully removed from code, increasing security standards across the platform.
LoadGen SessionSight
A brand-new SaaS solution in early alpha, designed to capture and analyze complete user sessions within web applications. Unlike traditional session replay tools, SessionSight is built on an open database architecture, giving customers full access to raw session data. This openness allows organizations to perform their own in-depth analytics, without limitations, and unlocks richer insights than closed systems can offer.
As SessionSight evolves toward release, it will seamlessly connect with LoadGen's testing solutions. The most common user clickpaths recorded in SessionSight can automatically be transformed into workloads for LoadGen WebTesting, enabling Load & Performance Testing, End-to-End Monitoring, and Functional Testing — bridging the gap between real-world user behavior and automated testing.
Licensing model: To be defined upon official release.
LoadGen SessionSight continues to expand, adding a complete set of monitoring and visualization capabilities:
- Core components: New authorization model, container datastructures, sidebar, tenants, sessions, visitors, funnels, goals, and heatmaps.
- APIs: Implemented APIs for funnels, goals, heatmaps, tenants, and visitors.
- Frontend views: Added new container view, funnel view, goals, heatmap view, visitors view, and session recording view.
- External API connection: SessionSight can now connect with external APIs, enabling more integration scenarios with third-party monitoring tools.
