If LoadGen Studio shows the error: “LoadGen Studio could not connect to Citrix using the current login script”, follow these steps:
-
Enable Debug Logging
Refer to our guide: Enable Debug Logging and analyze the NetScaler logon sequence. This will help identify whether authentication or resource enumeration fails. -
Check the screenshots
If one of the screenshots shows you the Detect Workspace, follow the below steps, otherwise contact LoadGen support. -
Check StoreFront Advanced Settings
On the StoreFront server, go to:
StoreFront Console → Store → Advanced Settings and disable the checkbox: Enable Citrix Workspace Launcher
This prevents redirection to Workspace App detection, which can interfere with automated login flows.
Validate Resource Access
- Ensure that the Application Name matches exactly (case-sensitive).
- Confirm that the test user has permission to launch the resource.
A failed connection indicates networking/firewall issues between the LoadGen Agent and Director.
