Resolving the “LoadGen could not load configuration for LoadBots” error

This error indicates the Director cannot read its LoadBot configuration file. A common workaround is to rename or remove the file so Director can recreate it:

1. Navigate to%ProgramData%\LoadGen\Director\ on the machine running LoadGen Director.

2. Locate LoadGenLoadBots.xml.

3. Rename the file (e.g., to LoadGenLoadBots-backup.xml) or move it out of the directory.

4. Restart LoadGen Director. It will generate a fresh configuration file.
