LoadGen FrontEnd

  • [#8911] "Activate to apply" banner for downloaded agent updates — When a newer build has been downloaded to the archive but not yet activated, the agent update cards now show an amber banner with an explicit Activate button, so the separate activation step can no longer be missed and appliances no longer linger silently on the old version.
  • [#8946] One-click local PostgreSQL for Service Levels datasources — The datasource dialog gained a "Use local PostgreSQL" toggle: the appliance resolves the managed PostgreSQL credentials server-side at save, so you no longer copy a connection string around and the secret never passes through the browser.
  • [#8913] Quick enable/disable on Uptime check cards — Each check card on the Uptime dashboard now has a toggle to pause or resume the check on the spot, without opening the edit wizard.
  • [#8923] Rename users from Permissions — Administrators can now rename a user directly from Security → Permissions, with a confirmation explaining what the rename carries over and that the user must sign in again. This is also the supported way to correct SSO accounts whose username was captured at first sign-in.
  • [#8845] Verify button for the Master API URL — The repository enrollment form now verifies the Master API URL inline (on click or when leaving the field) and tells you immediately whether the target is a Master appliance, not a Master, unreachable, or an invalid URL — before you fill in the rest of the form.
  • Setup checklist visibility toggle in Settings — Support Preferences gained "Show the setup checklist on the Home dashboard": a durable per-account switch to hide the Home onboarding card for good, or bring it back later.
  • Improved the SLO wizard's Timezone field from free text to a dropdown that defaults to the appliance's configured time zone. [#8945]
  • Improved schedule preset labels to 24-hour notation ("Daily at 08:00") to match the rest of the interface. [#8931]
  • Improved the Test Schedules page wording to make clear that a schedule belongs to a load profile and that saving replaces that profile's schedule. [#8932]
  • Improved the PowerShell script editor with an "Available variables" reference card documenting the variables available to uptime check scripts, including the authentication variables for connecting to remote targets. [#8899]
  • Improved the Services Configuration Wizard to pre-fill the Domains step with the frontend, Grafana, and InfluxDB domains already saved by the HTTPS Setup Wizard, instead of asking you to re-type them. [#8916]
  • Fixed opening a managed PowerShell script from the Scripts page showing an empty script body. [#8925]
  • Fixed editing an existing PowerShell uptime check freezing the entire UI with "An unhandled error has occurred" when reaching the Endpoint step. [#8914]
  • Fixed the Load Profile wizard discarding the per-user "User Type" on save; the selection now persists and is shown again when editing. [#8929]
  • Fixed the "AI Analysis" button on E2E Monitoring session rows appearing to do nothing; the analysis panel now scrolls into view when it opens. [#8939]
  • Fixed SSO sessions requiring re-authentication after Chrome's "Duplicate tab"; duplicated tabs now stay signed in, the same as local-username sessions. [#8943]
  • Fixed downloading an appliance backup opening a blank tab and reporting "Download started" without downloading anything; the file now downloads directly under its proper name. [#8944]
  • Fixed disabled uptime checks still rendering as red "Unhealthy" cards on the dashboard; they now show a neutral gray "Disabled" style so paused checks are not mistaken for live failures. [#8915]
  • Fixed deleting a PowerShell script that is still in use failing with a generic conflict message; the error now identifies that referencing checks are the blocker. [#8926]
  • Fixed the Test Results page failing to load with a UTC-offset error when the appliance's configured time zone differs from the server's. [#8917] [#8927]
  • Fixed disconnecting from a Remote API corrupting the local session — wrong user identity and seemingly lost permissions until a hard refresh. [#8920]
  • Fixed the header avatar and My Profile showing a generic "User" identity while connected to a Remote API; they now show the connected remote user. [#8918]
  • Fixed the "Welcome to the LoadGen" notification reappearing after being dismissed. [#8921]
  • Fixed the E2E Monitoring profile wizard offering a "Default LoadGen Workload" option that always failed at save; the unsupported option is disabled with an explanation until a default workload ships. [#8900]
  • Fixed the setup checklist showing "Set hostname" as not configured on appliances whose hostname was set before the recent checklist improvements. [#8910]
  • Fixed SSO provider Logout behavior, Logout URL, and claim mappings not persisting after Save. [#8922]
  • Fixed both "Test Runs" and "Test Analysis" highlighting simultaneously in the sidebar; the redundant entry was removed. [#8928]
  • Fixed ticket rows showing both the new detail preview card and a duplicate native tooltip on hover. [#8898]
  • Fixed datasources that are active but confirmed unreachable having no delete option, leaving broken entries impossible to clean up. [#8948]
  • Fixed an edge case in the Services Configuration Wizard where a malformed IP address value was not rejected on applying; such values are now validated before they take effect. [#8839]
