LoadGen FrontEnd

  • [#9187] Agent connectivity diagnostics — the Add/Edit Agent forms gain a Test connection button that checks whether the appliance can actually reach the agent and reports a clear, classified result — Connected, Connection refused, Timed out, Host unreachable, or DNS resolution failed — each with an actionable hint, so you can tell why an agent won't connect instead of only seeing a red "Offline". The Full and VDI Agents pages now also show the reason beneath an Offline pill and distinguish an agent that is still Initializing from one that is genuinely offline, rather than a bare red badge with no explanation.
  • [#9209] Clearer HTTPS activation — the HTTPS Setup wizard now asks for explicit confirmation before activating a newly issued certificate (a "Certificate issued — activate it now?" step) instead of cutting over silently, and its wording makes clear that applying HTTPS may briefly sign you out before it reconnects. Certificate issuance itself is unchanged.
  • [#8566] On the Core Agents page, the Refresh button now shows a spinner and reads "Refreshing…" for the entire operation, a progress strip explains that offline agents can take up to ~30 seconds to respond, and a completion toast always confirms when the refresh has finished — so a slow refresh no longer looks frozen.
  • [#9208] In the Load Profile wizard's Users & Agents step, agent options now include the agent type (for example, hostname (Core Agent)), so a host that has both a Core Agent and a Full Agent registered is no longer ambiguous. A hint explains that only the technology-compatible agent type is listed for the profile.
  • [#9188] Opening a LoadGen Studio Edit profile link in a new, signed-out browser tab now returns you to the requested edit page after you sign in, instead of landing on the home page.
  • [#9207] The Clone action on a Load Profile now creates a copy alongside the original, instead of overwriting the original profile.
  • [#8556] Using the "configure Systems Under Test" link on Step 8 of the monitoring wizard no longer erases your progress; the earlier steps are preserved when you return to the wizard.
