Release LoadGen FrontEnd: 1.0.0.12129
LoadGen FrontEnd
- Core Agent Appliance management from the platform — the Infrastructure → Core Agent Appliances area gains a much richer Manage experience:
- Bulk updates — select one or more appliances and push a Core Agent version (and, optionally, an Appliance Agent build) to them from the platform, with per-appliance and per-component job rows and live progress. An appliance that briefly goes unreachable while its own agent restarts shows an "Agent restarting" state rather than a false failure.
- Appliance configuration — set an appliance's hostname, timezone, static IP, and DNS servers directly from the Manage modal. A static-IP change uses a confirm-or-rollback safeguard, so a mistaken network change can't lock you out of the appliance.
- Browsers for web testing — a new panel installs the browsers a web-testing workload needs — Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Playwright's Firefox and WebKit builds — onto the appliance. It checks connectivity to each browser's source first and disables the Install/Update buttons with an explanation when a source can't be reached, and runs the install as an appliance job with live progress.
- The Manage modal was restyled with version fact cards, a log viewer, and Restart / Refresh / Update actions.
- Appliance-agent updates are now confirmed by re-checking the appliance's reported version after the update completes, so a silent rollback is clearly shown as Rolled back instead of a false Completed.
- Bulk-update rows that end in an error now show the reason (for example, that an appliance rejected the update because it is in the middle of its own self-update) instead of a bare red Error badge.
- The Preparing Infrastructure dialog no longer gets stuck on "Cancelling…" when you cancel a test start-up. The dialog now always closes on cancel and shows "Test did not start", along with the reason if the stop reported one.
