Monitor appliance health
Overview
Use the Appliance page as the daily health check for the configured appliance. Review the status banner, uptime, connection state, reboot readiness, resource metrics, and update versions, then open the operational tabs for deeper checks.
Before you begin
- Appliance has been configured. See the task guide "Connect a LoadGen appliance".
Steps
Step 1
Open Appliance Management from the Infrastructure area. The Appliance workspace should open in the main content area.
Step 2
Select the System tab if it is not already selected. Review the hostname, uptime, Connected status, Safe to Reboot status, Memory, Disk, Containers, and Tests cards. Use the refresh icon to update the displayed health data, and use Reboot only when the banner shows it is safe to reboot.
Step 3
Select the Updates tab. Review the Appliance Agent, .NET Runtime, and Full Agent cards for active versions, runtime details, paths, and last modified values.
Verify the result
The appliance shows Online and Connected status, the health cards show current resource and container values, and the Updates tab shows active component versions.
Troubleshooting
- If the appliance status does not show Connected, refresh the Appliance page and check the Network and Services tabs for connectivity or service issues.
- If Safe to Reboot is not shown, do not reboot from this page. Check Jobs and Active Test areas for running work before trying again.
- If Memory, Disk, Containers, or Tests values look abnormal, open the matching operational tab such as Docker, Disk, Jobs, Debug, or Logging to inspect the underlying condition.
- If an expected update version is not shown, confirm the active version on the Updates tab and check the Services and Logging tabs for update or agent errors.
